Quality Manager Job Opening in Fountain Inn, South carolina - REMA USA LLC (REMAŽ) a privately held, global company with operations in Germany, China and the USA, is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Quality Manager for the operation in Greenville, SC. The primary business of REMA is manufacturing, assembly and distribution of specialty electrical components.
Responsibilities include:
Leads integration of REMA ISO/TS Quality Management System requirements for our South Carolina operation.
Provides interpretation of complex requirements.
Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities.
Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances.
Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
Develops and implements corrective actions.
Additionally, develops detailed planning for data collection and analysis.
Compiles performance reports and process control statistics in order to determine and improve process capability or product quality.
Develops sampling inspection plans, and statistical management of variation plan for key characteristics.
Develops and uses statistical methodologies to ensure that specified levels of safety, reliability, and process capability are achieved, maintained, and/or improved.
Participates in process improvement decision making in a team based environment.
Develops and maintains required process metrics.
Performs process quality audits. Applies statistics following Company and customer guidelines regarding Statistical Process Control (SPC), statistical variation Management analysis, and reporting.
Performs data analysis for product acceptance, process improvements and key characteristics management.
Applies design of experiments approach for process improvement.
Identifies opportunities to apply statistics to evaluate and improve product quality.
Identifies data quality issues and implements solutions to those issues. Documents and validates results.
Skills:
Excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite, statistical software
Excellent customer and communication skills required
Ability to work in a Team based environment
Accuracy and attention to detail is very important to this position
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to research and analyze data
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Requirements:
Technical engineering degree with strong statistical background
ISO/TS auditor certification preferred
5 years related work experience in a manufacturing environment
Advanced knowledge on statistical tool application for product quality measurement
Must have Project Management (definition, execution and evaluation) experience and experience with Quality Systems
