Government Sales Representative Job Opening in Tulsa, Oklahoma - Position Purpose

Take all actions necessary to secure and maintain a market share and rental volume level in an assigned sales territory covering governmental entities including state, county and city governments, DOT, city owned airports, US government installations, turnpike authorities, rural water districts, post offices and Indian nations.

Essential Functions

1. Establish and maintain personal relationships with customers, determine customer needs and the best way to satisfy those needs.

2. Understand and apply marketing and finance programs, prepare quotations outline the features, benefits and any available financing programs.

3. Achieve and maintain excellent product knowledge through sales schools and self-study.

4. Organize time and information in a manner to maximize effectiveness.

5. Serve as liaison between KSMI and customers in all aspects of customer relations.

6. Follow up to ensure all aspects of sales an rentals transactions are correct and completed on time.

7. Complete all required paperwork correctly and on time.

8. Ensure all contracts and transactions are conducted in an ethical and professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Three years' sales experience

2. Experience in sales to entities.

3. Experience with//knowledge of governmental bidding processes.

4. Intermediate or higher level of computer skills in Word, Excel, Email and the ability to learn company-specific software.

5. HIgh School or equivalent education; degree preferred

6. Valid driver's license

7. Occasional overnight travel
