Occupational Therapist Job Opening in Caldwell, Idaho - Rehabilitation Management Associates, Inc. (RMA)/Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS) is currently seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist for our Caldwell, Idaho - West Valley Medical Center location. The opening is for an inpatient OT (acute care) ? ideally the schedule would be for Wednesday, Friday and Saturday coverage approximately 25-30 hours per week. RMA/STARS is a comprehensive therapy provider with clinics in Idaho and Oregon.
West Valley Medical Center is a 150 bed, nationally accredited facility dedicated to providing high-quality, cost-effective healthcare to Treasure Valley residents.

About Caldwell
Caldwell, 25 miles west of Boise, is the second largest city in Canyon County. It is home to The College of Idaho. Skills, knowledge, education and experience:
Graduated from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy with a B.S., M.S., or M.O.T. degree and completion of the required field work and internships.
Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Idaho Occupational Therapist Licensing Board.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
Must understand all basic occupational therapy skills and be able to perform them accurately; must demonstrate good evaluation and observation skills for strength assessment, equipment recommendations, home evaluations, and range of motion assessment.
Must be proficient in the application of modalities and procedures used in physical medicine.
Must be able to apply an adequate knowledge of anatomy, function, and structure.
Must be cognizant of safety issues and demonstrate skills in reading and writing, and be able to communicate professionally.
Must have organizational skills and the ability to problem-solve.
