Applications Architect Job Opening in San Antonio, Texas - Applications Architect application architect is needed for a full-time position with one of our enterprise clients. the applications architect creates designs and solutions for the development teams to put into practice and creates pocs to prove out hypotheses and theories. the applications architect will also perform r d to keep abreast of new technologies and their proper implementations within an enterprise level environment. responsibilities: ? conducts r d to identify new coding techniques and development technologies. ? oversees utility libraries for enterprise use. ? participates and provides technical oversight in self-organizing teams working to a common goal. ? mentors developers on tools and programming practices. ? conducts peer reviews to ensure development and security standards are met. ? creates and maintains coding and security standards. ? works with other it teams in a devops model to automate internal processes to improve efficiencies. ? works with business partners to identify potential enhancements to existing business processes. the applications architect must have dedication to continuous learning and be passionate about keeping up-to-date on the latest technologies and testing methods to producing high-quality software as well as have the ability to lead adoption of new tools and technologies. the application architect should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to clearly communicate ideas and processes and create/use effective diagrams and charts. this is an expansion role for a department that is known for its tenured team of developers. for confidential consideration, email your resume to .
