We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Director to join our team.
Position Description:
Primary responsibility for managing the organization?s day to day operations, directing and coordinating the work of the staff and serving as the primary spokesperson for Your Neighborhood Connection (YNC). Responsible for leading the marketing and new business development of YNC to ensure a continuous flow of business. Ensures the organization is fiscally sound and that its internal and external programs are meeting the needs and interests of its customers and other constituents. Responsible for meeting the mission, goals and objectives of Your Neighborhood Connection .
Essential Functions:
Accountable for effectively managing all activities involved in the delivery of home care services to customers.
Develop and manage an operational plan which incorporates the goals and objectives of the organization.
Establish and implement marketing and business development strategies for all home care services offered. Focus will be on new business development within the surrounding communities.
Establish, maintain and expand client relationships within the Moravian Manor Community and the Luthercare Community.
Develop and implement a strategic plan for long range sustainability, funding and services of the organization.
Responsible for organizing and supervising the administrative functions including budgeting, accounting, data collection, record maintenance and employee practices.
Ensures compliance with Federal and State regulations as well as other accrediting bodies.
Assumes responsibility for the readiness of the organization to meet all inspections, surveys and renewals including state licensure and federal certifications, where applicable.
Responsible for the supervision of the day-to-day operations of the programs including, but not limited to, the following: Financial management, employment process, Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement, Payroll Expense, Admissions and Assessments, Business Plan Development, Human Resource Policy Enforcement and ongoing Staff Development.
Responsible for managing all client and family services programs.
Representing the in-home services organization as the official spokesperson of the programs in the community, and manages all public relations activities when necessary.
Assures the handling and resolution of any complaints from clients, families and the community.
Monitors utilization of resources by every client to assure cost effective delivery of services.
Participate in fund raising activities when appropriate.
Job Requirements:
Education/Knowledge :
Bachelor?s degree required. Master?s degree, preferred.
Must be certified in CPR (will be allowed six (6) months to obtain certification if necessary).
Must have a valid PA driver?s license, in good standing.
Experience:
7-10 years of progressive management experience in a healthcare related organization.
