RESPONSIBLE TO: Regional Director
SUMMARY: The Health Center Manager will establish and maintain a professional, supportive, and caring environment for their health center staff and patients which includes a focus on patient care, efficient operations, and customer service. They will create and achieve clinical, operational, and financial goals for the health center and support the mission of PPRM. They will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent communication, staff management, and organizational skills, and are able to function independently within the health center. This position is hourly, non-exempt.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school degree or equivalent required with relevant work experience preferred. Three to five years supervision and management experience in positions of increasing responsibility is highly desirable; business and customer service background as well as marketing experience strongly preferred. A qualified candidate will demonstrate a high degree of integrity to ensure maximum confidentiality, be self-motivated, a creative and forward thinker. Applicant must have excellent customer service, communication, typing, organizational skills and ability to multi-task. They must have the ability to work independently while also supporting a strong team environment and have the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Qualified candidates will have a reliable mode of transportation and a willingness to travel.

Essential Functions:
Responsible for the day-to-day management of all health center activities. Manages the health center to meet or exceed goals in productivity, revenue, patient visits, quality, and compliance.
Monitors and ensures compliance with all PPRM medical protocols, HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, and state pharmacy regulations. Provides quality assurance of appropriate lab follow-up, medical chart audits, and patient satisfaction.
Reinforces a patient-centered service model, by mentoring staff and volunteers and setting an example by creating an environment that stresses responsive service delivery. Demonstrates excellent customer service to both internal and external customers by working towards a positive outcome with any problems encountered.
Promotes a safe and open environment in the health center in order to increase appreciation of all forms of diversity. Ensures delivery of information, education, and services in the health center, in a manner that both acknowledges and is sensitive to the uniqueness of each individual and the communities we serve.
Responsible for all aspects of employment for health center staff and volunteers, which includes, but is not limited to: hiring and onboarding, ongoing training, staff development, performance corrections, and holding effective staff meetings to ensure all staff and volunteers are aware of all new and revised PPRM policies and procedures. Monitors and evaluates staff and volunteers in their daily performance. Responsible for discipline of staff.
Responsible for performing various midlevel computer tasks. Proficient in all MS Office programs, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Able to use the PPRM email system and PPRM Intranet as a resource for communicating agency-wide. Able to accurately enter data into PPRM?s NextGen system and perform audits and corrections on a daily basis.
Prepares and submits all necessary reports on a weekly and monthly basis, and ensures that these reports are done accurately and in a timely manner. Submits additional reports as requested from administration.
Manages health center grants and individual health center funds and ensures that they are utilized properly and completely. Submits timely and accurate reports to administrative fund manager, accounting, and regional director.
Develops, implements, and monitors health center budget. Monitors monthly financial statements against operating budget for fluctuations in revenue, expenses, and staffing ratios and makes changes as needed.
Responsible for financial management of the health center. Accountable for daily reconciliation of deposits and logs, submitting invoices and expense reports, and conducting financial chart audits in a timely manner.
Regularly conducts analyses of the health center, and creates measurable goals and objectives to ensure successful health center operations and financial stability. Implements activities to achieve health center goals and objectives, and evaluate results. Submits and updates business plans accurately and in a timely manner.
Conducts community outreach, networking, and education, as well as internal and external marketing in order to attract and retain patients and to establish PPRM as a long-term referral source.
Assures appropriate ordering is occurring and checks for accuracy of inventory for office supplies, medical supplies, contraceptive supplies, therapeutics, furniture, and equipment for the health center.
Ensures compliance with medical record management. Supervises records retention and purging/archiving process for the health center.
Implements and monitors PPRM security policies and procedures.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the physical health center facility.
Participates in abortion services (participation can include referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc.)
Performs other duties as assigned.
