Job Summary:
Position will be responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations. This candidate will provide leadership and coordination in the administration, financial reporting, accounting and budgeting.
Reporting Relationships:
The Controller reports to the owner and CFO of the company. The Controller directly manages the Accounting Department.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for all AP, AR and payroll functions including the supervision of staff in these areas.
Manage the department on a daily basis.
Preparation of the yearly financial statements.
Reviews and recommends adjustments to monthly financials.
Preparation of monthly financial reporting package to include balance sheet, income statement, cost variance to budget report, and cash flow forecast.
Establishes and maintains systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data and enhance the Organization?s value.
Prepare applicable business tax form ? sales tax, payroll tax, etc.
Ensure all vendors meet all requirements of contract agreements prior to payment.
Prepare tax information required for corporate tax returns.
Assist with cash flow analysis and collection.
Skills Required:
5-10 years? experience in accounting with industry experience.
Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax working knowledge.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines completely
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload to produce desired results
Solid computer skills including MS Office, Excel, & Outlook
Experience with Sage 100 preferred
Bachelor?s Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
