Billing and Claims Specialist Job Opening in Overland Park, Kansas - Ajilon Healthcare is seeking candidates for a Billing and Claims Specialist job in Overland Park, KS. This job works with hospice patients and primary medicare claims. You will be responsible for reviewing claims and entering correct information into company software. You will be working on a project with three other individuals. To be successful in this job you will have experience working with insurance claims and be available immediately for a contract-to-hire job opening. This job is starting immediately. Compensation depends upon years of experience in a similar job, the targeted range is $16.00/hour. This is not an entry level job, as long as you have experience with insurance and claims processing you could be a candidate for this job.
Billing and Claims Specialist job duties:
Review claims and match payments
Record payments into multiple databases
Notice when things don?t add up and research to determine the correct payment
Escalate problem claims to the team lead if a determination is not able to be made
Qualifications:
Experience with billing and claims (at least one year)
Associates degree or medical billing and coding diploma would be a plus!
Ability to start immediately
Desire to work in a large company
