Position Summary: Swim and Tri is a swimming and triathlon team dealer based out of Knoxville, TN with locations in Mobile, AL and Richmond, VA. The Team Sales Representative is based out of our flagship Knoxville store and is responsible for helping to prospect, manage, and oversee team accounts. The individual in this position responds accurately and efficiently to our customer needs via phone and email. Must be resourceful, have a positive attitude and ability to work in a fast paced environment. Successful candidate has strong problem solving skills, is independent, responsible, and works with dedication, follow through, and friendliness.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, or in person. Answers all calls and emails promptly
Presents features, benefits, quotes and pricing proposals of Swim and Tri's products, programs, and services to current and prospective customers
Responsible for having customer orders placed into admin system in a timely manner
Communicate effectively with team accounts and co-workers
Recruit/Develop new team accounts
Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential opportunities
Provide detailed notes regarding all interactions with team accounts
Maintain strong working relationships with new and existing accounts and entire team sales staff
Solve problems and recommend solutions to clients and management to meet and exceed the expectations of our teams
Maintain high energy and a positive attitude when dealing with all customers, co-workers, and vendors
Meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals that are set on a consistent basis
Weekend travel/ event setup/service as needed (approximately twice per month)
Other duties as assigned relating to the role
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be organized, diligent, and reliable in order to accomplish daily, weekly, and monthly goals
Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and responsible with excellent written and verbal communications skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Windows software
Great phone personality. Fast typing skills a plus
Professional Appearance and Attitude
College degree preferred
Reliable transportation, job will require some travel
Competitive Swim Background is a plus!
