Audit/Tax Associate Job Opening in Mount Pleasant, South carolina - Audit/Tax Associate Position
We are currently seeking a full-time audit/tax associate for our firm in Mount Pleasant. This is a full time position with seasonal periods that will require increased hours to meet work load demands, while providing flexibility and extra PTO opportunities during non-peak periods. Responsibilities
Assist audit manager with audit fieldwork and testing procedures and draft financial statements for various nonprofit, governmental, and commercial entities
Prepare individual, business, nonprofit, and other tax returns
Assist with project work including accounting services, tax notices, and other specific projects
Effectively interact and communicate with clients to obtain information and relay results
Perform technical research and form conclusions to present to managers on issues that arise

Ability to multi-task
High level of comfort using technology and multiple applications concurrently
Intermediate skill level using excel
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
A team player and ability to adapt as priorities shift
Receptive to coaching and feedback and a strong desire to learn
Required education
Bachelor?s degree in accounting / finance required, Master?s degree with eligibility to sit for the CPA exam preferred
