Tasks We Need You To Perform
Making Great First Impressions: In many cases, you will be the first person a customer, potential customer, or visitor interacts with. Whether you are answering the door, replying to emails or answering and returning phone calls, you?ll be responsible for making sure everyone gets the information they need and feel taken care of from the moment they first interact with you.
Answering and returning phone calls from customers and prospects: You will be the first point of contact for all prospective clients and customers. Also, when you're not here to answer the phone, many of the calls will go to voicemail. You'll be responsible for returning those calls the next day.
Responding to customer service phone calls and emails: We get quite a few phone calls and email every day. I am very big on customer service. You will need to respond to each of these within 24 hours or next business day with basic information that we'll provide to you. So you must be comfortable with the phone, using email, and be a good typist.
Filing: Basic stuff to keep up with the paper flow.
Client and Trainer Scheduling: You will be in charge of updating any changes on a client's and coaching schedule on a daily basis into our company software.
Required Skills
These are the skills you must already have in order to qualify for this position:
A ?Stewardship Mentality?: You will be taking care of our customers and prospective customers. They are all VERY important, so you must be comfortable conversing on the phone, in person, and through email. You must be relentless in finding solutions for them. We'll teach you the basics of what to say and do, but we can't teach you how to have a great attitude and a strong desire to help people.
Microsoft Word: You must be very comfortable using Word
Microsoft Excel: You must have basic Excel skills - you won't have to do anything advance with this software, just some simple spreadsheets, but you must be comfortable doing what we need you to do.
Good Phone : You will be talking with our clients and customers, who are VERY important to us, and prospective customers, who are also important! You must be comfortable conversing on the phone, in person, and through email. You must know how to conduct yourself professionally, take clear messages, and deliver clear instructions to the prospect or client. We'll teach you everything you need to say and do, but we can't teach you manners and professionalism.
Customer Service and People Skills: You must have a natural ability or "servant hood" mentality, positive attitude, and have impeccable people skills.
Email: A great deal of your work will be via email. We use a web-based program that's easy to learn (you'll understand it within 30 minutes). You must be very comfortable and proficient with email.
Thoughtfulness and Organization: We need you to be able to think for yourself and be organized. I am very serious about this one! I do not want a robot, I want someone who learns and grows with our company.
Attention to Detail: This is a must! You will need to catch the little things from scheduling, to wording, numbers, cleaning, etc.
Flexibility: We are a small business and as such things change very fast. So we need someone that can adapt to change on the fly.
Bonus Skills
If you have these additional skills, your resume will go right to the top of the stack (but if you don't have these skills, you should still apply because these are not mandatory).
Adobe Creative Suite/Graphic Design: We publish a monthly newsletter and special announcement flyers in publisher, and you'll need to be able to go in and make edits/changes to the file when necessary and get it ready to print
Editing and Cropping Pictures: We take before and after photos to be used as social proof and testimonials for our company.
How To Apply
We're looking to hire the right person as soon as possible for the Sacramento, Placer, Reno and Sparks locations and mainly from 12pm - 8 pm, with some weekends. So if this job sounds good to you, follow these instructions now.
Here's what I want from you. NOTE: Failure to follow these instructions will result in your resume going in the circular file. This is your first test, okay?
Write a resume that includes your education, ALL prior work experience (yes, we even want to know if you mowed lawns when you were 14), and any skills you have. It should be 1 or 2 pages in length, but no longer.
Share a 100-250 word (we will count) cover letter explaining why you are the perfect person to fill this position. Include full contact information (name, address, phone, email) on this cover letter. Also include our core value of Delivering Fun in the first paragraph of this letter (explain how you have delivered fun in past positions or how you will with our organization).
We will review your resume. If we feel you're a good prospect, we'll call or email you to set up a personal interview.
The sooner we get your resume, the better. This will not be a long, drawn out process. I believe in taking action quickly. So get your resume over to me pronto! I look forward to reviewing it and hopefully meeting you personally.
Again, thanks very much for your interest. .
Yours in Health,Coach Matt Weaver
P.S. - This in not a corporate type of structure job. Results Transformation Center is an entrepreneurial small business. I move quickly to capitalize on opportunities. This is not the type of job where just showing up is enough. Results TC is everything to me. I want nothing more than to find a person who takes real interest in doing good work and contributing to the growth of the business.
With all that said, as I mentioned in the headline on this page, enthusiasm and a positive attitude go long way in my book. I'm a very positive, upbeat person and appreciate those qualities in others. As long as you have the basic skills I mentioned, and a great attitude, you're definitely a candidate! So send us your resume today!
