Senior Staff Accountant Job Opening in Columbia, Maryland - Accounting and Auditing firm seeking individuals with compliance auditing experience consistent with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), OMB Uniform Circulars, DCAA and other regulatory guidance experience. Must be able to perform grant audits, accounting system reviews, pre-award reviews, incurred cost submission and other agreed upon procedures. Research and prepare responses to perform government audits. Experience preparing and reviewing complex reports and briefings. Strong communication skills in developing working relationships with client personnel. Communicate with project team leads, facilitate client meetings, develop work plans and coordinate project team activities. Proficient in all Microsoft office applications (with demonstrated experience using Excel, PowerPoint and word. Ability to multi-task, strong customer service and communication skills. CPA preferred.
