Position Summary:
Kinesiologists are an essential part of the HealthFit Colorado team. We are focused on developing an elite team of driven professionals as we grow, aiming to set a new benchmark of excellence in the Health and Wellness field. We rely on our Kinesiologists to provide a variety of wellness services and programs to a wide population at a world-class level.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Kinesiology and medical team to provide exceptional care to HealthFit patrons
- Develop a culture of health excellence and extraordinary customer service
- Implement individual programs as well as group programs
- Be knowledgeable about all services and programs offered by HealthFit
- Build and maintain knowledge focused on Kinesiology, Biology and Anthropology
- Meet personal and business objectives
- Maintain knowledge of current industry trends
- Represent HealthFit at external events
- Attend department meetings
- Comply with HIPAA regulations
- Other responsibilities as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Understanding of effective coaching methods and their implementation
- Commitment to providing an excellent customer experience
- Willingness and ability to succeed
- Ability to excel working both with a team and individually
- Coach-ability and desire to learn
- Ability to effectively communicate and share different techniques and strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2500+ hours of experience directly
- Knowledge or expertise in Biology, Kinesiology, and/or Genetic Anthropology
Required :
- Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology, Human Biology, Health and Wellness, Exercise Science, or similar
- Professional certification(s) within the field acquired from a reputable organization
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Must have or acquire professional insurance by official start date
(HealthFit Colorado must be an additional insured)
Preferred Education:
- Masters Degree focused within the Health and Wellness Field
