Payroll Senior Analyst Job Opening in Minneapolis, Minnesota - Through Masterson , the Payroll Analyst will work a full-time temp-to-hire position with one of the nation's top financial institutes in downtown Minneapolis within the company's GPS Payroll Tax Team. To qualify, you must be based in Minnesota currently.
The Payroll Analyst will be on contract up until year's end or until the end of the 2018 tax season with high potential to be hired full time based off performance and need. The candidate must have experience with multi-state and local taxation, posses considerable knowledge of company payroll tax policies and practices, and must demonstrate that knowledge on their resume. This position will most likely start towards the end of August, upon completion of the background check. There may be potential for an in-person interview for this position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performing the most complex work in support of payroll tax research, setups and corrections
Having in-depth knowledge of all payroll tax activities
Focusing on activities that are accounting and tax related
Assisting with governmental
Collecting data and preparing related payroll statistics and reports
May be preparing input forms for automated data processing system
Utilizing the company's internal payroll system to perform duties
Qualification:
Three to five years of tax experience, preferably working with multi-state and local taxation
Posses the ability to work in a fast-pace, high volume environment
High attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to complete tasks on time
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Full-time Position: Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (hours may vary)
Salary: $21.00/hour
Start Date: End of August
