Sales Operations Business Analyst Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - Indeed Hire has partnered with Littelfuse to hire a Sales Operations Business Analyst in Chicago, IL.
The primary purpose of this job is to support the sales reporting and analytic needs of the organization. This position will not only be responsible for generating and analyzing sales related data, but also creating and developing the queries and reports in support of this activity. The role will also be heavily engaged in system related projects being implemented to upgrade our analytics and back office operations.
Develop and create BEx queries in a BW environment in an effort to support the sales reporting and analytic needs of the organization. Need to be able to interpret business needs/requirements and translate these into BW reports or IT requests.
Assist with Information Broadcast (automated reporting feature of BW) to reports.
Prepare and generate ad hoc sales reports from a BW environment in an effort to support the sales reporting and analytic needs of the organization. Responsible party will not only generate the data, but will also be responsible for the validation and analysis of the information.
Special Project (includes but not limited to):
Name Cleansing and Data Visualization Tools ? Key lead for propagation of name cleansing tools (currently being implemented) as well as Data to other functional areas/users.
Project to review/implement changes to our current NA POS process. Evaluate feasibility for Europe and Asia POS
About You:
4 year College Degree ? will allow for advancement in the company.
Experience developing BEx queries within a BW environment (1 ? 2 years preferred).
Experience with Data Visualization tools ( 1 ? 2 years preferred).
Project Management experience preferred.
Must be analytical and detail oriented ? High standards of accuracy and review is critical.
Strong MS Office skills required (Excel/Access).
Ability to communicate with a variety of functions and users.
Strong ability to learn and apply new concepts.
Ability to manage projects autonomously and be a self-starter.
