Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Opening in Suwanee, Georgia - We are a leading full service contracting company specializing in the installation of Commercial Exterior Wall Systems. Our company has experienced strong growth and we are currently seeking an Experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to add to our Accounting Team at our corporate office located in Suwanee, GA.
Job Description:
Preparation and distribution all Project Payment Applications, including schedule of values and lien wavers
Processing and posting of Accounts Receivable Invoices to the accounting system
Processing and posting Cash Receipts to the accounting system and preparation of related deposits
Monitors and assists in the collection of Accounts Receivable
Preparation of weekly cash requirements report
Tracking and processing of Change Orders and Project Budgets
Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting and related documents
Timely and accurate preparation and processing of general ledger adjustments as required
Monitors adherence to all policies and procedures
Assists Controller with the completion of monthly closeout procedures, reconciliations, and reports
Provides backup support to the Operation team
Qualifications:
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Recognizes the need for priorities and importance of meeting deadlines
Detail oriented, demonstration accuracy and thoroughness
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
Personable and friendly with the ability to work closely with groups of people, including employees at all levels, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office program varies operating systems
Educational and Skill Experiences:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or related experience
10+ years of accounting experience
5+ years relevant commercial construction industry is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word
Foundation Construction Software experience preferred, but not required
Working knowledge of AIA billing and preparation of Lien Waivers experience preferred, but not required
