Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Maintenance Technician Job Opening in Groton, Connecticut - Access Logic provides state-of-the-art Life Safety and Security solutions for our clients. Position Responsibilities:
Test, inspect and clean devices which may include smoke detectors, heat detectors, duct detectors, fire panels, primary and secondary power sources, pull stations and other life safety devices as per individual contracts
Test various functions on the fire panels which may include supervisory, troubles, panel operations and ancillary functions
Ability to recognize and document deficiencies and recommend improvements identified during the inspection process
Completion of inspection related forms
Essential skills and experience:
Ability to read blueprints
Fire alarm and/or sprinkler experience
Knowledge of electronics and excellent troubleshooting skills
Working knowledge of fire alarm and/or suppression systems and fire alarm and/or suppression system testing
Knowledge of NFPA requirements, local fire codes, and inspection procedures
NICET II certification preferred but will train
Valid driver?s license with clear driving record
