Critical Systems Compliance Auditor - Tahoe / Reno
The Compliance Auditor oversees and conducts audits for both Customer compliance of Switch?s Acceptable Use Policy (external), and department compliance with applicable regulations and certifications (internal). The Auditor develops, reviews and analyzes audit reports to identify potential risks and discrepancies, then will consult with management to make recommendations in order to be proactive and conform to company and external compliance policies. This person will also be responsible for maintaining compliance records to include but not limited to root cause analysis, discrepancy, training, and report records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Discuss AUP violations and make suggestions with customers to find solutions for compliance.
Schedule, coordinate, and conduct customer initial TSCIF audits to ensure AUP compliance.
Conduct preventative and predictive TSCIF audits to ensure compliance with the AUP.
Train and qualify Technicians to conduct heat containment and post maintenance inspections.
Conduct facility and customer buildout audits to identify potential compliance risks and/or issues.
Conduct investigations and interviews for departmental incidents to complete RCAs.
Coordinate and conduct task, shift, and facility quality audits as requested by management.
Ensure quality, safety, and completeness of Critical Infrastructure installations and maintenance.
Develop, track and maintain compliance documentation, policies and procedures.
Know, understand, and enforce the compliance of company and regulatory policies & procedures.
Formulate and recommend practices to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the company.
Develop, review, and analyze reports to proactively identify potential compliance risks and issues.
Other Duties:
Conduct and maintain Physical inventory of materials related to compliance.
Research and develop new practices to improve company efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Identify procedure gaps and develop or oversee the development of the procedure.
Provide support for Critical Systems Operations.
Required Job Skills:

Computer Equipment and Software:
Microsoft 2010 Suite: Must have strong Outlook, Publisher, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Adobe X Pro
Certification:
Technical or Quality related Certification, and/or:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent, prefer an Associate?s degree or higher in a Quality, Engineering, Management, or related technology field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, production, facilities, electrical, or mechanical maintenance.
Physical Demands:
The data center is 24/7/365 operation. This position requires the ability to work effectively under pressure, multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously. This person may be required to work extended hours during peak work periods.
