We are searching for a a Data Import/Export Specialist that is action-oriented and motivated even when working on tasks outside his/her knowledge-base. Data Import/Export Specialist should not only be independent and confident enough to complete tasks on his/her own without close supervision, but also able to communicate and work effectively in a distributed group setting. Job Description:
Establish and maintain the import of jobs from our clients and export of jobs to our partners.
Communicate with clients and partners, write new importers/exporters, and support existing code in PHP for parsing incoming XML and JSON feeds, mapping feeds according to our data and import them into our database.
Write new and support existing code for generating XML and JSON feeds that contain hundreds of thousands of jobs based on data in our database.
Write new and support existing code in Python for scraping jobs from sites of our partners who don?t provide XML or JSON feeds.
Manage and ensure all feeds are imported and generated on schedule. diagnose and resolve technical issues, address issues in mapping and feed format mismatches.
Build diagnostic, monitoring and reporting tools to help you with your job.
Communicate with other programmers working on the same other development projects related to the same technology platform.
Communicate with nontechnical staff and assist in the acquisition of reports and BI reports.
Ability to write SQL queries.
This position requires someone that is very detail-oriented and thorough as you will be working with production data.
Job Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience with PHP
At least 2 years of experience with SQL (preferably PostgreSQL) database administration
Ability to work with a Linux Operating System running on server, log in using SSH and diagnose issues
Experience in parsing and generating XML data
Experience with using git or other VCS.
Excellent English and verbal/written communication skills

PostgreSQL experience
Experience with provisioning tools like LXC and Ansible
