Senior Java Engineer Job Opening in Costa Mesa, California - "● Define, design, implement and test software applications using a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to: Java EE, Relational databases, No SQL Databases, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, React, HTML, and scripting languages.
● Validate throughput requirements by working with the Performance Engineering team.
● Align teams designs with larger architecture objectives.
● Assist team members in design discussions and decisions.
● Perform code and design reviews with other team members.
● Mentor and coach team members to improve product quality and development efficiency.
● Work with the support organization to respond and investigate customer issues.
● Produce documentation for the work done so support and other members of the team understand the changes to the product.
● Interact with the Quality Analysts to define test plans and test data; identify, reproduce, and document defects; fix and verify defects.
● Interact daily with the Product Management team to clarify requirements or suggest changes during the implementation of the enhancements.
● Interact with the User Experience (UX) team to identify, design and implement the user interface portions of the Campaign applications."
"● Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Java programming, including client-server and RDBMS layers required.
● Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate required.
● Proficiency with HTML and JavaScript/Ajax required.
● TestNG or other unit testing methodologies required.
● Experience with automated integration testing frameworks (FitNesse, Cucumber, etc)
● Basic database design required.
● Experience building multi-tenant SaaS web applications in a cloud environment required.
● Agile product development experience required.
● Ability to collaborate effectively with highly technical and non technical resources in a fast-paced environment required
● Ability to solve complex challenges/problems and rapidly delivering innovative solutions required
● Scrum/Kanban (Scrumban) experience desired.
● Experience with Git / Github, Kubernetes, Docker desired
● Cloud native application architecture experience desired
● Application and database performance analysis"
