Telecom Technician Job Opening in santa barbara, California - Telecom Technician Seeking Telecom Technicians to perform Central Office jumper work involving customer equipment relocations The assignment is for full time work that will last approximately 3 months and the work will be performed on swing shift. Expereince is desired but some training will be provided. Required Skills: ? Must be able to speak and read English ? Must be able to interactively communicate and work as a member of a team ? Must have the ability to learn and retain methods and procedures related to jumper running on a CDF ? Must have the ability to quickly and accurately locate equipment on the CDF from block location and numbering provided ? Must have the physical stamina to work on your feet for an entire shift while running, terminating and removing jumpers, while working on a ladder over 50% of the shift Desired Skills: ? Familiarity with Central Office distributing frame (CDF) numbering schemes ? Familiarity with jumper running methods and procedures ? Familiarity with jumper terminating methods and procedures ?
