Food Service Foreman Job Opening in Hill AFB, Utah - Supervises a shift operation in a food activity operation. This position requires associate to be friendly and passionately focused on delivering a personalized customer experience.
Supervises the preparation of sale of food items during an assigned shift. Receives, verifies, and checks quality of food/supply items. Estimates and orders food/supplies as required.
Greets each customer upon contact. Assists customer by listening to needs, offering suggestions and thanking customers for their business. Resolves customer complaints at the lowest level and informs management of barriers to meeting the optimal customer experience.
Prepares, maintains, and processes accounting and facility operational reports.
Participates in the establishment and achievement of service and sale goals for the food operation. Ensures optimum stock availability by supervising or participating in periodic stock counts and inventory(s) and updates merchandise control records. Maintains/controls personnel cost and productivity standards.
Performs the duties of subordinate associates as required by workload.
Opens and/or closes the facility in accordance with published , ensures the security of cash, fixed assets and inventory and complies with fire, safety, sanitation and security regulations. Initiates work orders for repair and maintenance.
Supervises assigned associates. Establishes work schedules, assigns and distributes work; counsels; prepares performance reviews; leave slips; trains associates; recommends actions and performs other supervisory functions.
Responsible for enforcement of all name brand fast food and exchange standards. Must complete servsafe and applicable food certification within 90 days of hire.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical Effort: Active, standing, and walking for entire shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Working conditions: Works primary inside where the steam and heat from cooking and dishwashing often cause uncomfortably high temperatures. Also work inside a walk in freezer and cooler.
Shifts will include Hours. Days off and hours worked will vary according to operational needs.
