Accounting Office Manager
Hours: Monday- Friday: 8 am -5 pm
Location: Nashville, TN
Experience Required:
Bachelor?s degree with preferred accounting, business or finance emphasis.
Three to five years of progressively responsible analytical experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, presentation and training experience in classroom or business setting, and sound judgment.
Aptitude for problem solving, the ability to adapt to new situations
Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets required ? Excel, Access
The position may require approximately 30% to 40% travel.
Responsibilities
Answer office phone and provide professional assistance to internal as well as external customers
Greet and assist walk-in visitors including job applicants
Maintain a professional office image and environment
Assist field managers ordering office supplies and keep track of cost compare to budget
Maintain all office services running smooth such as internet services, phone services, copier services, and others.
Perform daily payroll analysis to ensure compliance with time and attendance, as well as, payroll management best practices. Project budget overruns and assist in identifying improvement opportunities.
Direct input and review of billing (sales orders). Review and audit of sales orders produced remotely.
Own accounts receivable (collection) process. Weekly action and documentation of efforts to achieve timely collection of all invoices
Prepare weekly, monthly and annual forecasts and projections. Communicate with operating teams on trends and assist with action plan and remedy development
Assist regional management and corporate accounting department in monthly, quarterly and annual financial reconciliation and analysis, particularly during the month-end close process
Conduct ad-hoc reporting and research
Maintain, track, and manage capital assets and inventory. Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance, fleet management, and other asset related services.
