Sales and Marketing Representative Job Opening in Brooklyn, New york - Heart to Heart Home Care, a growing Licensed Home Care Agency, is seeking a full time Marketing Representative for the Lower Manhattan/ Brooklyn part of the Marketing team, the ideal candidate will contribute ideas for identifying new referral sources, as well as, identify referral sources within their territory of responsibility; whose primary focus is connecting the frail or chronically ill to the following services: Managed Long-Term Care (MLTCP) / Medicaid Advantage Plus (MAP)/ Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) and Hospice. The Marketing Representative combines marketing and developing referral relationships with the goal of keeping the Company highly visible as the preferred option for homecare delivery and processing referrals. The position reports to the Director of Marketing and covers a assigned territory throughout NYC as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Continuously manage a broad base of agencies, services and professionals as referral sources.
Responsible for scouting new providers and referral sources, while meeting departmental guidelines.
Must meet monthly referral goal per department guidelines
Reviewing and tracking potential referral sources
Will use Excel to track and report on referral sources as needed.
Discern cultural differences and needs of assigned communities.
Territory Management
Manage multiple organizations within geographic area, for constant interaction with all.
Participate and create various community related activities such as health fairs/screenings and informational seminars on long term care.
Meet minimum expectation of provider visits based on departmental guidelines.
Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of all contracted product lines to educate providers and consumers.
Requirements
1 year Health Care related marketing or sales experience
Ability to travel with-in assigned territory (public or personal transit)
Effective Communication Skills
Highly Organized
Technology savvy
