SkuVault is seeking a Software developer for our Louisville, KY office (onsite position)
The developer provides various levels of programming, design, testing, implementation, and documentation of our business system software in the environment; performs fact finding and analysis for problem solving with the business application. Works in a full stack design environment with a focus on UI and business logic.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides technical and systems design expertise to assist in the development, implementation, review and upgrade of our internal developed warehouse management technology platform.
Is proactive regarding product development, new services and technologies or enhancements to existing which will assist in improving overall service to our customers.
Actively participates in an Agile environment, fulfilling task assignments, meeting deadlines, and proactively seeking attainment of team goals.
Assists in the development of programming expertise within the systems development team and follow code standards as well as utilize unit test opportunities.
Minimum Requirements: Typical candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in computer science, business or related field and/or 3 or more years of experience developing software using some of the following technologies: C#, , JavaScript, jQuery, MVC, HTML5, CSS3; experience using Git, Subversion or other source code repositories; experience with responsive web page design; good oral and written communication skills, and analytical skills necessary; understanding of Agile processes.
Preferred Experience:
Use of CSS frameworks (Bootstrap), preprocessors (SASS or LESS), JavaScript frameworks (AngularJs, ReactJs), libraries (jQuery); experience with front-end user/mobile page; knowledge of the eCommerce industry, warehousing, and/or inventory management; use of Agile processes with related projects.
