Condé Nast Entertainment is looking for a Production Manager to join our dynamic, fast, creative environment. In this fast-paced environment, the Production Manager will act as a key player on the Production Management team that produces CNE?s digital editorial content. In this role, you must be able to prioritize and know when to elevate concerns to ensure that support is going to the correct area of business.
This is a mid-level role and a strong candidate will have experience in all production phases and management including shoots, voiceover, shoot, scripts, releases, purchase order, call sheets, production and post production scheduling, coordination of booking crews and equipment.
In this role, the candidate will sit at the intersection of our sales and editorial divisions to manage the execution of sponsored content campaigns that delight our digital audiences and meet our clients' objectives.
Production Manager Primary Responsibilities:
Working across multiple Condé Nast brands and marketing verticals to ensure branded content is delivered within budget parameters, following established policies and procedures, meeting publishing deadlines, and satisfying creative expectations of clients.
Act as central point of contact for edit, creative, product, marketing and sales in development and execution of custom content for advertisers, including but not limited to native advertising, product integrations, and sponsored content programs.
Manage all aspects of content creation process, from concept development to final execution. Keep multiple concurrent projects on deadline and budget.
Determine and manage content production budgets, deliverable timelines, and the coordination and logistics for branded campaigns.
Oversee a strong rolodex of internal and external producers, crews, editors, designers, and production support teams in realizing the vision for each branded content campaign. Manage team?s deadlines and priorities for each stage of the program (proposal through campaign fulfillment).
Collaborate with marketing and editorial to ensure that custom content campaigns meet specific client objectives, contractual agreements, and maintain the voice and standards of the Condé Nast brands.
Provide administrative and internal process support to assigned production activities.
Provide direction on production process and ensure business requirements are met in a timely manner across all departments involving Production Management, Business Affairs, Programming, Marketing, Sales, Strategy, and Accounting. Serve as the contact for coordinating with CNE Internal departments on booking stages, equipment, post production, scheduling, and various other production needs.
Establishing guidelines and best practices for Third Party Production companies to follow throughout production.
Recognize deviation from accepted practices and confirm appropriate next steps.
Reviewing deliverables and approving final payments upon project completion.
Experience/Skills Required:
A minimum of 3-5 years of Production Management experience with an emphasis on branded content production.
College degree required.
Effective time management and organizational skills to maintain multiple projects with complex details and timelines.
Familiarity of working with, contracting, negotiating, and managing Third Party Productions.
Familiarity with treatments, storyboards, scripts, releases, purchase orders, call sheets, booking freelance production crews and equipment, coordinating travel, permitting, scheduling, writing budgets, distributing call sheets, handling insurance requirements, production and post-production scheduling, reconciling financials, and cost reporting is required.
Skilled in the compliance with Union agreements, contractual obligations, permitting, labor laws, international visa requirements, and insurance needs.
Strong skills in Excel, Google Docs, Outlook, and the ability to use a variety of software.
