Medical Sales Associate Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - Immediate opening for a full-time, sales associate in the orthopedic, sports medicine bracing industry in an established territory with large opportunities to grow. Caliber Medical Solutions Inc. is a Birmingham-based distributor with a long, tenured history in the orthopedic bracing market representing some of the top bracing and rehab manufacturers in the U.S. with exclusive distribution rights to sell select brands from DJO Global including Aircast®, Chattanooga, CMF?, Compex®, DonJoy®, ProCare®, Exos?, Dr. Comfort®, and DonJoy Performance®.
DJO Global is a leading global developer, manufacturer and distributor of high-quality medical devices and services that provide solutions for musculoskeletal health, vascular health and pain management. The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting the Sales Reps in identifying and cultivating potential customers, closing business and achieving quota. These responsibilities can be achieved through securing orders, identifying and qualifying potential sales leads, cultivating customer relationships by initiating contact with surgeons and other device users, introducing DJO's products to potential customers, assisting with equipment delivery, set-up, follow-up, and service, coordinating and/or collecting the necessary forms and paperwork to complete a sale, and other duties as assigned. Our products address the continuum of patient care from injury prevention to rehabilitation after surgery, injury or from degenerative disease, enabling people to regain or maintain their natural motion. Our products are used by orthopedic specialists, spine surgeons, primary care physicians, pain management specialists, physical therapists, podiatrists, chiropractors, athletic trainers and other healthcare professionals. In addition, many of our medical devices and related accessories are used by athletes and patients for injury prevention and at-home physical therapy treatment. Product lines include rigid and soft orthopedic bracing, hot and cold therapy, bone growth stimulators, vascular therapy systems and compression garments, therapeutic shoes and inserts.
Territory would include parts of metro Atlanta, areas south of I-20 and parts north of Macon.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
Valid driver?s license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
B.A. or B.S. in Business Marketing or related healthcare field, preferred
1-2 years of healthcare industry experience in customer service or sales related area
Orthopedic therapeutic device training
Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement
Knowledge of orthopedic therapeutic devices and their application
