Telephone Sales Technical Support position available at internet startup company Job Opening in los angeles, California - Technical Support position available at internet startup company Web Technologies, Inc. is currently looking for an energetic new Technical Support employee to support its software applications and services. The company is in a start up environment at this time, we're looking for an employee that is going to be here for the long run and grow with the company. Technical Requirements for this position: - Proficient with using a PC - Proficient with Microsoft Windows platforms - Highly motivated individual that is willing to learn - Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a "must" - Very strong attention to detail - Knowledge of the internet and how it works The following skills are a plus, but not required: - Knowledge of very basic HTML - Experience supporting software Duties: - Answering technical support questions about our different products - Assist customers by telephone and email - Go after new business during slow support times This is a full time position, Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5:00 PM. The position pays $12 an hour for the first 3 months, at which point if the employee has proficiently exercised the duties of this position, the pay will be increased to $15 an hour. The company is still in its startup stages so the salary will increase based on the performance and growth of the company thereafter. The new candidate will be coming in from the very infancy of the business, so there is a lot of potential to grow with the company as it expands. Please note that Web Technologies is still very much a startup business, candidates applying for this job will be working with and reporting directly to the owner of the company, helping to support its current customer base and growing the business.
