Sr Software Engineer Job Opening in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania - CoreDial is looking for talented Sr Software Engineers who enjoy a challenging, fast paced environment. This high-visibility role will help expand and enhance our CoreDial software platform, adding new features and capabilities, in addition to developing new products to complement our core business. You will be involved in the full software development life cycle from analyzing business requirements and writing technical specifications, to coding, testing, and deploying in lab/staging environments. Responsibilities:
Implement major new features and feature improvements
Develop, test, and maintain distributed and scalable Python applications
Design easily consumable, scalable and performing data models.
Ensure quality and timely implementation of project activities
Work with Architecture team on defining project non-functional requirements and system designs
Work with leadership on defining action plans based on roadmaps
Assist with onboarding of new team members
Provide training and guidance to junior members of the team
Work with VP on improving software development practices (ex. SCM, CI, Automated testing)
Qualifications:
5+ years of software development experience
Advanced knowledge of Python frameworks (Flask, Celery, SQLAlchemy)
Advanced knowledge of design patterns and MVC frameworks
Experience with OLTP database schema design and implementation
Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration
Knowledge of Javascript frameworks, particularly Angular JS
Knowledge of Linux or other BSD OSes
Proven ability to solve large scale problems
Experience with git / Gerrit or other version control systems
Fluency in several programming languages is a plus
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and achieve goals with minimal supervision
