Senior Analyst Job Opening in Portland, Maine - Position Summary
The focus of this job will be financial modeling while assisting with the budgeting process.
Responsibilities
Perform complex financial modeling for various ?What if? scenarios and the overall financial impact
Analyze and assess business performance and identify options to improve performance
Complete special financial studies such as profit analysis, capital expenditures, impact of potential new programs, etc.
Perform financial and operational analysis to support short term and long range strategic plans and operating budgets
Create/maintain Financial models to help Executives make better decisions
Highlight potential pitfalls and/or streamline and eliminate non-value added processes
Assist in the creation of annual budget and develop presentations to management
Compare monthly and quarterly performance to forecast analyses
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance
At least one (1) year of experience as a Financial Analyst
Strong modeling experience
Analytical skills to collect pertinent information necessary to analyze complex problems and come up with solutions
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of hospital financial management
Experience with an ERP
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
