We started the company in 2000. Our solution is web-based fleet and motor pool software called FleetCommander. FleetCommander is used to manage fleets of vehicles. What does that mean? Our solution helps government (e.g. DoD, Homeland Security, Loudoun County, the State of Michigan), commercial (e.g. Chevron, Honda), educational (e.g. Cornell University, Virginia Tech), and other organizations optimize the use of their fleets of vehicles and automates duties for their fleet staff. Director of National Accounts Sales Position Responsibilities
In order to contribute effectively to our sales efforts, and to contribute to our exceptional customer service, we need every member of our sales team to:
Spend the time and energy to learn how our software product works. The software product is web-based and we have plenty of resources to get you up to speed on how the different ways our customers would employ it. We feel you need to know how the software works in order to be able to converse with our customers about how they would use it.
Gain an understanding of the fleet market space. That is, we need you to understand the challenges faced in the different fleet environments so that you can communicate how our product will benefit our customers.
Respond to sales inquiries; educate the prospect by presenting the benefits of our solutions; and ultimately closing the sale.
Managing notes and other data in our CRM software, .
Ability to give engaging demos of the product on site or on the phone while using web conferencing tools (GoToMeeting, WebEx).
Ability to give engaging demos of the product on-site with customers and answer on-the-spot and sometimes in-depth questions from prospective customers.
Maintaining proficiency with the following software products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, , GoToMeeting, WebEx, and other internal applications.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and communicate sales status to management teams.
Communicate customer needs to other company departments in order to establish priorities for product enhancements.
Having the ability to travel within the US and Canada to customer sites and trade shows.
Establishing and maintaining a training regimen to keep yourself abreast of new product features and benefits.
Ability to work as part of a team with other departments such as Marketing, Operations, Implementation, and Product Development.
