Pest Control Sales Job Opening in Springfield, Virginia - Position Summary
Responsible to sell company services to homeowners and commercial through creative prospecting and company supplied lead. Builds strong relationship with existing customer or new customer to generate more sales and revenues.
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct complete and thorough inspection for any of the Wood Destroying and pest problems in both residential and commercial.
Identifying all termite and pest control issues.
Graph must include all correctly stated pertinent information: linear footage, construction type, conducive condition, previous or active infestation, etc.
Maintain accurate and complete records of sales activities.
Arrives on time for scheduled appointments.
Punctual and follows up in a timely and professional manner.
Always has professional appearance and demeanor.
Maintains integrity of pricing
Sells contract services versus one-time services whenever possible.
Follow up with new customers to ensure satisfaction and build relationships.
Sell additional services to existing customer base and new referrals.
Ability to close sales on both residential and commercial
Generates sales leads for pest control and termite treatments- cold calls, door to door?
Builds strong relationships with internal and external customers to create "Customers for Life."
Perform regular pest services treatment and specific service jobs.

Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
job require standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have knowledge of pests and their behavior, plus knowledge of materials and equipment used in their control.
Must have knowledge of structures and layout of buildings.
Must be experienced in the technical aspects of the pest management business because they will be required to perform the actual work at times, as well as train others on procedures.
Knowledge of proper treatment methods for termites and pests.
Valid Driver?s license.
Valid Commonwealth of Virginia Certified Pesticide Applicator Certification.
