Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Opening in Pineville, Louisiana - St Christina Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a division of Dynasty Healthcare Group, LLC (An Anniversary Holding Company) is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is interested in making a difference in the lives of our residents and their families. The CNA will be responsible for offering quality of life services for our residents. The ideal candidate for this position is a compassionate professional with a strong sense of discretion and previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility.
Full time positions are available on all shifts with a 4 on and 2 off rotation.
Essential Job Functions of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) :
Assist residents with performing basic tasks such as eating, dressing and toileting when necessary
Respond immediately to calls from patients for assistance or treatment and alert medical staff to pending emergency situations
Encourage all residents to get exercise and participate in scheduled activities
Work with dining room personnel to ensure that all residents get the correct meals and that all residents are able to eat
Qualifications of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) :
High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred)
Valid CNA license
Minimum of 1 years nursing experience
Able to communicate clearly using both written and verbal methods
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Strong bedside manner
Other Requirements:
Must pass criminal background check and meet other hiring requirements.
