Level 1 System Administrator Job Opening in Paducah, Kentucky - The Level 1 technician is the entry level support position. Level 1 technicians answer inbound phone service requests. The Level 1 technicians verify service eligibility, confirm customer information and document issue descriptions used to generate service tickets. The Level 1 technician also performs basic PC level troubleshooting and remediation. Level 1 technicians are given time and resources required for continued professional development and resulting advancement opportunities.
Please note: the individual filling this position must work from within our Paducah, Kentucky office.
Knowledge
Level 1 Technicians should have a basic understanding of computer networking fundamentals as well as basic PC hardware knowledge. Level 1 technicians should have solid written and oral communication skills.
Education
High School Diploma required. Additional IT related education desirable.
Experience
Practical, real-world experience is preferred, but not a requirement for this entry level position.
