Clarus Commerce's Mobile Engineering team is searching for a React Native developer that can make our mobile apps best in class. We will leverage React Native to build beautifully performing and intuitive Android and iOS apps. You?ll help us ensure that the mobile apps are better than a native equivalent by pushing the bounds of JavaScript and to look for high-value opportunities to introduce React Native to our Clarus Commerce apps.

Responsibilities:
Be a major individual contributor of coding on the team who is comfortable working independently.

Build hands-on experience with the latest technologies and delivery methodologies.
Work in a fast-paced, agile project environment with small, focused teams.
Manage the complete mobile development cycle including testing, integration and publishing.
Lead QA for feature and product teams.
Test app performance, usability, and hardware/software compatibility.
Drive bug prioritization and work cross-functionally with engineering/design.
Provide technical support to internal team members.
Host and manage internal company test sessions.
Requirements:
BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent.
2+ years of Experience with ReactJs/Redux
4+ years of web development experience required.
*MUST: *Strong React Native experience.
*MUST: *Strong knowledge of Javascript (ES5 and ES6), AJAX, HTML5, CSS3 & JSON.
*MUST: Styling in React Native.
*MUST: Strong JavaScript Programming Knowledge (functional, imperative, classical, prototypal, etc.).
Strong understanding of programming principles (OOP, REST, MVC, etc).
Strong analytical and performance optimization skills.
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies.
Integrations experience with REST, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and 3rd party APIs.
Strong knowledge of AWS.
Strong understanding of the iOS and Android ecosystem and its guidelines for app development.
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working in a distributed product-team environment.
UI / UX experience - knowing how an app should flow and recognizing bottlenecks and errors in current code.
Bonus Points
Hands-on experience testing applications for smartphones and tablets.
Experience testing iPhone applications and Android applications.
Passion for mobile, especially applications on phones and tablets.
Experience interfacing with Web Services platforms.
Knowledge of photo/video technologies in both objective C, Swift ,Java, C #
Experience with agile test tools and methodologies.
Experience managing releases.
Understanding of material design guidelines.
