Travel: Yes, 50-60% of time
Educational / Experience Background:
Bachelor degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or related field. At least 10 years of progressively responsible and successful experience in the management of sales functions, preferably in a manufacturing or building product environment. Verifiable record of prior sales success.

Provide the leadership to inspire your team to do things they didn?t think they could do.
Proven track record of increasing sales in a small to mid-size entrepreneurial company. Well-connected with rolodex of relevant senior contacts. Proven ability to develop and lead a high performance sales team. Knowledge of structuring sales quotas, goals and revenue expectations. Exceptional professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent work ethic, strong organization, prioritization and analytical skills.

Job Responsibilities:
Assume overall responsibility for all business development and sales activities at Lightblocks.
Create significant new revenue streams and on-going business development opportunities in the core business. Identify and develop new customer groups for LIGHTBLOCKSŪ products and services.
Travel nationwide to meet with clients, distributors, and independent sales reps. Visit sales reps for client and customer presentations on products and AIA presentations.
Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
Directly oversee major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts. Maintain close key client contacts to continuously monitor client needs.
Ensure that Lightblocks meets or exceeds bookings, revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction objectives.
Develop and implement the OEM sales and marketing portion of the strategic plans, focused on growth and new product activities
Develop and manage the annual revenue and sales and marketing expense budgets. Provide monthly revenue forecasts to the CEO and CFO.
Develop and coordinate the sales selling cycle, methodology and reporting in conjunction with Lightblocks CEO and CFO.
Create and manage the sales rep reporting system for sample delivery and project follow-ups.
Analyze and improve the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results. Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
Lead all team members towards achievement of our shared goals by creating clear paths of action within a culture of discipline.
In conjunction with Lightblocks management and staff, research and develop strategies and plans which identify new revenue generating product development opportunities.
Direct and coordinate company internal and external sales functions. Provide guidance, direction and mentoring to the project managers, factory direct sales reps and independent sales reps. Maintain a focus on ongoing training to keep the inside and outside sales teams aligned around new developments in process and new products.
Be effective at coaching, motivating, recruiting, and growing salespeople as well as holding them accountable by measurable metrics. Recruit ?A? players to expand our high-performance sales team and to inspire current sales talent to greater performance.
Communicate effectively with department managers and corporate staff to ensure our client?s needs are being met.
Be part of the creative process and supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
Supervise and oversee the inventory of marketing materials i.e.: sample stock, flyers, etc.
Provide applicable competitive intelligence where possible.
Perform any related duties necessary to accomplish these objectives and any related duties that may be assigned by the CEO.
