Collections Specialist Location: Lansing, MI Hours: M-F 40 Hours a Week Description: The position will consist of clerical duties, some inbound/outbound collection based calls to collect payments over the phone and setup written repayment plans with senior citizens for their past due taxes and insurance that were advanced and must be repaid. On the customer service portion, they will learn about taxes/insurance and reverse mortgages so they have the ability to answer questions that may come up during a collection type of call. In addition to calls, they will also have to enter data into our system daily, be able to send letters during the day while on calls and answer questions regarding taxes and insurance. They will track all of the activity done on a daily basis and may be asked to participate in other ?special projects? as they come up. Qualified candidates should posses: ?
