Lease Accountant Job Opening in Charlotte, North carolina - POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Month-end and year-end financial statement closing responsibilities
Prepare and reconcile monthly Prepaid Lease schedule
Analyze expiration and renewal dates to provide monthly lease expense accruals
Report on Tower Rent variances month over month
Report on 3rd Party Access variances month over month
Prepare and reconcile annual Straight-Line lease schedule
Prepare and reconcile annual Future Minimum Lease schedule
Manage 3rd Party Access/Type II agreements
Monitor payments to ensure accurate expense recognition
Monthly asset responsibilities
Release inventory receipt batches
Create and release inventory receipt batches
Maintain tax rate schedules in Dynamics SL
Assign tax codes on Capital Projects
Capital Labor Allocation

Assist Manager, Network Assets
Quarterly & annual physical inventory reconciliations
Month-end subledger reporting & reconciliations
Decommissioned and returned equipment processing
Fixed Assets entry into Sage FAS
Account for Asset and equipment disposals in FAS and Dynamics SL
Capital & Operating Projects creation & maintenance in Dynamics SL
Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
5+ years related work experience: telecommunications, manufacturing or commercial construction/real estate experience is preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics SL is a plus.·
Strong knowledge of accounting processes.·
Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
