Medical Scribe Job Opening in Pontiac, Michigan - Job Type: Must be willing to work at least 4 days a week for 6 hours a day. Employees may choose the timing and days
Become a member of our team and gain ultimate clinical experience in the medical field. As a medical scribe or medical assistant, you will be responsible for personally assisting various multi-specialists and physicians in order to deliver efficient patient care. A medical scribe/assistant is normally responsible for working side by side with the doctor, performing medical documentation and gathering information before and during the patient's visit.
Job Duties
Performing routine tasks and procedures on a daily basis
Assisting physicians during diagnostic examinations
Explaining treatment procedures to patients
Recording medical SOAP notes
Having a deep understanding of medical terminology
Updating and filing patients? medical charts and records
Arranging for hospital admission and laboratory services
Measuring patients' vital signs and recording patient's data for each visit
Administering medications and injections
Preparing and handling medical instruments and supplies
Collecting and preparing specimens of bodily fluids and tissues for laboratory testing
