Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
You will grow the brand, manage, and work directly with our distribution partner and their sales team in and around the Southern California area. Additionally, you will identify and sell into new account prospects, then introduce the account to distributor for ongoing servicing. Once account has been opened you will oversee the proper product placement and merchandising to meet PULP STORY standards. This position reports to the Company Owner.
Salary: $40,000 base + bonus (up to $20k) + car allowance. Limitless opportunity for highly successful performance.
Visit and sell PULP STORY into new accounts daily
Develop strong relationships with customers and distribution partner sales team
Schedule sampling events and special events to ensure product sell-through
Maintain and keep current sales materials and tools
Complete required daily administration duties and sales reporting duties
Review weekly and monthly account performance with your report-to
Requirements:
3+ years of sales experience in the food and beverage industry
Must be able to demonstrate business to business sales record at a high level of achievement
Strong prospecting, selling and closing skills
Excellent time management skills
Highly motivated self-starter
Good attention to detail and competent writing & reporting skills
Understanding of retail business operations - pricing, margins, shelf space
Ability to make quick decisions; operate on your own and take initiative
Strong business acumen, relationship management skills, customer focus
Physically able to lift and move 50 pound cases of product and place POS
Valid driver's license plus registered & insured reliable vehicle. Ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
Live within assigned sales territory
Associates Degree or higher
Demonstrated ability to meet sales quotas
