Furniture Sales Associate Job Opening in colorado springs, Colorado - Furniture Sales Associate Job Description: Furniture Sales Associate Full and Part Time, Hourly plus commission Job Location Furniture Connection The Promenade Shops at Briargate 1645 Briargate Parkway #207 Colorado Springs, Co. 80x0 As a Furniture Sales Associate, you will provide outstanding customer service to all Furniture Connection's customers by demonstrating advanced product knowledge and building quality customer relationships that result in increased sales and repeat business. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver Furniture Connection's customer service promise by ensuring friendly and professional interactions with all guests. In this position, a Furniture Sales Associate will develop advanced product knowledge to better serve our customers. Key Accountabilities: ? Maintain customer service and selling as the number one priority ? Demonstrate knowledge of furniture, accessories and services and use this knowledge to build sales ? Practice suggestive selling, offering related items and accessories and driving multiple-unit sales ? Assist customers with fabric selection and other design elements (room planning, color selections, etc) ? Organize and prepare your sale orders and paperwork in a timely in a organized manner ? Follow up with customers regarding ? Constant communication with customer regarding order status, etc ? Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally, focusing on teamwork. ? Communicate effectively with Associates and Management and be flexible to the needs of the business Skills Summary: ? Enthusiasm and desire to learn ? 2-5 years sales experience required, season furniture sales experience is preferred ? Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for interacting with people ? Excellent communication skills ? Ability to develop long term customer relationships ? Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented ? Must be able to work multiple shifts and scheduled weekends ? Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management ? Product knowledge of selling custom upholstery preferred: Norwalk, Weiman, Woodmark, Intermountain Furniture ?
