HVAC apprentice for employee-owned shop Job Opening in seattle, Washington - HVAC apprentice for employee-owned shop Progressive Building Solutions is a locally owned and operated HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing shop. All employees are on a vesting path towards the best profit sharing plan in the industry We are looking for a youthful but partially experienced/trained apprentice to help on our HVAC side. The tech would also be willing and wanting to assist on electrical and plumbing projects as needed. Preferably 1-3 years of experience in HVAC installs or service. Time would be spent on maintenance, service, and installation. Training and experience preferred. Please mention type of systems you are familiar with either in terms of service or install. Ductless heat pump experience preferred as well. Qualified applicant must have great customer service skills, a can-do attitude, a dedication towards ongoing training and technical proficiency, and presentable appearance and manner. The tech to be hired will be given extensive training opportunities including NATE, BPI, PTCS and others. Applicant must possess basic hand tools. Power tools will be provided as needed. Applicant must have reliable transportation with a van or pick-up being given preference. Also, must have good driving record.
