Sleep Research- Healthy Participants Needed (U of M, Ann Arbor) Job Opening in ann arbor, Michigan - Sleep Research- Healthy Participants Needed (U of M, Ann Arbor) Researchers at the University of Michigan are seeking volunteers to participate in a research study about sleep and learning (IRB ID Number: HUM00029790). You may be eligible if you are between the ages of 18 and 40, not pregnant, do not have any current neurological concerns (including seizures and head injuries), no current sleep concerns or psychiatric disorders that affect your sleep, and are able to keep a consistent sleep/wake schedule including 6-10 hours of sleep. You must also not be taking psychiatric or sleep medications, taking other sleep-altering medications, smoking regularly, drinking more that five caffeinated beverages per day or drinking more than twelve alcoholic drinks per week. Participation in this study involves completing detailed questionnaires about sleep and other that may impact your sleep, keeping track of your sleep/wake schedule for one week, wearing a wristwatch-like device that assesses movement and light exposure for one week, and spend three nights in the sleep lab while completing a learning task.
