Job Purpose:
Designs and develops enterprise software products by following the software development plan and guidelines.
Duties:
Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, UML diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Test and approve products and tools.
Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
Mentors the existing team and helps them transition to the web based development platform
Ensures the application, security and database design are state-of-the-art that supports a plug and play architectural design

JS, Angular JS, HTML5 / CSS, XML
Other valuable skills include Java/Spring, SQL (MS SQL Server and Oracle) and No-SQL databases
This individual should have effective communication skills (written and orally)
In depth knowledge and understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts, Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services and Unified Modelling Language diagrams.
Preferences:
Enterprise architect certification is a plus
3+ years of experience with listed responsibilities and skill sets.
