Clinic Operations Director--HHCC Job Opening in Abilene, Kansas - Clinic Operations Manager
The primary focus of this position will be to manage and direct the overall administrative activities in accordance with current applicable federal, state,and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Day to day job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for efficient and effective recruitment, retention, and management of qualified clinic staff
Provides annual evaluations for staff and keeps track of all current
Coordinates activities held between clinical and clerical staff
Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow
Ensures that all services provided are consistent with the MHS Mission and Policies, the CMS Conditions of Participation for Rural Health Clinics, and State/Federal Regulations while operating on a budget approved by Board of Directors
Develops and implements policies and procedures for the office and the clinic
Communicates progress and problems, and pertinent information to clinic staff in a timely through regularly scheduled meetings or other means necessary.
Monitors patient schedules and handles patient issues
Monitors billing, collections, insurance payments, accounts payable, etc.
Responsible for marketing, public relations, retention and growth for the clinic
Maintains all required clinic records
Participates as a member of the Rural Health Leadership Team and other organizations as assigned
Qualifications:
Must possess, as a minimum, an Associates Degree. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
2 years Management experience in a healthcare related field preferred
Specific Requirements:
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and delegate responsibilities when these actions are warranted
Must be able to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret program goals, objectives, and procedures
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with employees and patients, the general public, and other departments of the facility
Must be highly organized and detail oriented
Must be knowledgeable of medical terminology, laws, and regulations as they pertain to the hospital
Must be knowledgeable in computers, and type 45 words per minute, and use a 10 key calculator
