POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a career position with opportunities to promote and advance within the organization. We are looking for a FULL TIME MEDICAL ASSISTANT / PHLEBOTOMIST that is professional, detail oriented, can establish positive rapport with patients, technically proficient, and professional. The MA will be required to conduct administrative tasks for patients, render office procedural support, draw and process lab specimens, and interact with patient intake.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Rooming Patients, taking vitals, and building rapport with patient intake.
Preparing and administering intradermal, intramuscular, and subcutaneous injections.
Render procedural support to all office procedures under the guidance and direction of a medical doctor.
Conduct BMI and DEXA Scans.
Prepare and conduct venipuncture procedures.
Physically and administratively prepare lab specimens for collection and processing.
Accurately enter patient data into EHR (MediTouch).
Assist front desk administration with answering calls and checking patients in and out.
QUALIFICATIONS
MA Certification Preferred
Phlebotomy Certification Preferred
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
A self-starter who requires minimal supervision and proactively completes tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour
