Behavioral Medicine - Therapist Job Opening in Norman, Oklahoma - Norman Regional Health System is located just south of Oklahoma City and provides services to many residents and communities throughout south-central Oklahoma. The health system is licensed for just under 500 beds. Our acute-care facility on Porter Avenue offers a full range of services. The HealthPlex campus at Interstate?35 and Tecumseh Road features Cardiovascular Services, Spine and Orthopedic Surgery, and Women?s and Children?s Services. The Moore campus features outpatient services such as physical therapy, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, a physicians? office building, and an emergency department. In addition to operating these three main campuses, the system also provides other healthcare services to the community via outpatient medical service facilities, diagnostic centers, an EMS service, several physician offices, various designated centers of excellence, a durable medical equipment supplier, a primary care network, community wellness initiatives, a health club, and an occupational health clinic. JOB DESCRIPTION: Serve as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing services to senior adults in an intensive outpatient program. Provide patient care in the form of group, individual and family psychotherapies and case management to include; treatment planning, discharge planning and assist patients with accessing community resources.
: Meets education requirements for qualified behavioral health professional. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
LICENSURE: Prefer at least one year clinical experience. Equivalent experience will be considered. Current LCSW license in the State of Oklahoma is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
