NYC Start Up Is Hiring an Assistant Controller Job Opening in New York, New york - Fast growing NY based SaaS company is seeking a talented Assistant Controller to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a start up SaaS Accountant looking for the next step in their career.
The Assistant Controller will be responsible for managing the month/year end close, revenue recognition, expense entries and prepare balance sheets. This role will be reporting to the CFO and will be required to provide insights on how to improve policies and procedures. Implementation experience is a huge plus!
The Assistant Controller will need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, SaaS experience and a solid understanding of revenue reporting. A CPA is highly preferred but not required. He or she will be analytical, detail oriented, and have a proven record of driving results and meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
