Part Time Community Engagement Representative
This is a part time, non-benefited exempt position, 2.5 days per work week
What you will do at AMC:
The Community Engagement Representative works under the direction of the CEO and is AMC's public relations staff member. Responsible for communicating AMC's services and needs to stakeholders in Alliance?s Service Area via extensive verbal and written communication and participation with community-based organizations. Responsible for donor stewardship. Collaborates with foundation partners to cultivate donors. Manages projects with internal and external partners. Will prepare and disseminate regular press releases to inform the community about current AMC activities and successes. Plans and implements large community events to inform key stakeholders about AMC's services and needs. Plans and implements donor recognition events. Represents the CEO and AMC's interests at community events, in meetings with community groups, and in individual meetings with key stakeholders. Manages the annual end-of-year mail/email appeal. Serves as a member of AMC?s Board of Directors Fundraising Committee. Performs other duties as assigned.
The Part Time Community Engagement Representative at Alliance Medical Center has the following qualifications and skills:
- To be considered for this position, candidate(s) must have over 5 years of progressively responsible experience in community outreach, public relations, and/or development.
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
