LITIGATION RECORDS CLERK Job Opening in Pasadena, California - Our Business, Family, and Real Estate Litigation Firm located 12 miles from Downtown Los Angeles is committed to hiring and developing the very best and brightest who can provide high quality work product, service, and results.
We have an exciting opening for a LITIGATION RECORDS CLERK who can "hit the ground running" , and has a "go-getter proactive personality" to collaborate with the Managing Attorney, Paralegal, and Executive Assistant, in the following litigation functions:
1. FILING: Set-up, organize, tab, index, and update documents into client files, exhibit books, administrative files, and/or billing folders;
2. SENDING: E-mail/scan, fax, and mail documents with cover letters, notices, and proofs of service; obtain/produce documents; drop-off/pick-up documents from main office and post office; liaison to process servers, attorney service, and vendors;
3. PHONE: Office reception (back-up), schedule appointments, and respond to general inquiries;
4. SUPPLIES: Track, manage and re-order supplies, equipment, and vendor services; and
5. SPECIAL PROJECTS: Researching, developing, and executing plans.
As a RECORDS CLERK , you will be expected to apply your organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, proactive, high-energy attitude. The successful candidate has a keen attention to detail, including the ability to compose, edit, format, design, and proofread grammatically correct correspondence, indices, and basic legal documents without errors. We are looking for someone dependable who manages time well, prioritizes effectively, handles multiple deadlines, and gets results. An ideal candidate will be highly proficient in software applications, including MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and local court websites.

Our RECORDS CLERK is eligible to receive a generous compensation package including a full-time salary plus monthly bonuses in recognition of individual contributions to firm performance. QUALIFICATIONS:
1) 2-7 years Litigation Experience as File Clerk, Records Clerk, Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, Paralegal, and/or Administrative Assistant, for an LA County law firm in business, real estate, family, and/or related contract litigation matters.
2) Legal Secretary/Paralegal certification (ABA accredited) or Bachelor's degree is appreciated but not required.
